A series of four-panel comics called Kinkon Tosanikki appears in the evening edition of the local Kochi Shimbun newspaper.
The creator, Masahiro Muraoka, is a cartoonist from Kochi. Four editions of his comics have been released in book form. Grandpa, grandma and their grandchild are the main characters, and their relaxed, everyday conversations in local dialect are loved by many.
